Congalsa wins Corporate Social Responsibility award for its work/family conciliation measures

At Congalsa, conciliation between work and family life is an essential part of our sustainability plan. We are aware of the importance of healthy work-life balance, and eneabling our workers to be able to realize this challenge, has been a priority. And know, this work has received recognition from public administrations.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Award by Xunta de Galicia we have just won, is a recognition of our commitment to reconciliation of professional and personal life. The award will be granted on March 3rd by the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Industry, in a ceremony held at the Hotel Monumento San Francisco, in Santiago de Compostela. For us, it is an honour to be among the leading companies in Galicia in conciliation policies.

It is important to notice that conciliation policies and well balanced work-family life have been key for long in our company. Measures to improve reconciliation have been, for example, the promotion of flexible schedules and other social actions for the employees. As our HR Director pointed out, this award is a recognition of the success of these elements. We are convinced that promoting work-family conciliation measures, in addition to having a positive impact on collective well-being, helps productivity.

The acknowledgments of the Administration are, in short, an incentive to keep on improving life and family conciliation. We remain committed to the challenge of improving motivation and productivity, at the same time we improve our employees well-being.
