Our quality department verifies daily that this goal is accomplished. For this, we work very closely with all suppliers of raw materials, controlling their productions, auditing their facilities and demanding the maximum quality for the goods served.

All our suppliers are frequently audited by our own personnel, demanding high levels of food safety and quality control.

Our quality department maintains an internal system of integrated information about the characteristics of our products, of the raw materials used, as well as statistics and analysis of different problems that may arise. The quality department also runs a full self-check laboratory, which analyses all the batches produced prior to placing them on the market. Everything we sell has been previously checked and tested by our staff.   

At Congalsa, quality is everyone’s business. That is why all of our employees receive ongoing training on health and quality self-monitoring programs

We strongly believe in food safety, therefore we work to meet the requirements of the most demanding international certification standards, having gained, for example, IFS Higher Level and BRC A Grade. Environmental management standards are also part of our global quality system. The responsibility of Congalsa regarding the environment is certified under the ISO 14001 standard, which details the key elements of our commitment and performance in terms of environmental protection.
