Seafood Expo Global 2024: the largest ever

APRIL 12, 2024

The next edition of Seafood Expo Global and Seafood Processing Global, to be held from 23 to 25 April in Barcelona, is set to be the largest in history.

The 30th edition of this reference event for the seafood sector, will cover more than 50,000 square metres and will host exhibitors from 84 countries, making it the world's leading event for the seafood trade and its entire supply chain.

An opportunity for Congalsa to strengthen relations with our international customers and suppliers and to present the latest in our product catalogue to all those who stop by our booth (5F501).

Coastal fishing products will be leading new launches in our food service solutions catalogue, which we market under the specialised brand Ibercook Food Service.

Our project to promote local fish products is consolidated with new references, such as the Egg battered blue whiting fillets; a product that combines the flavour and popularity of this daily catch fish, with a delicious batter that has become a hallmark of Congalsa's products.

This new product complements the range of butterfly fillets of blue whiting and mackerel, which will be cooked to enjoy at the booth by our chefs with appealing recipes such as blue whiting and serrano ham popietas or smoked mackerel toasts.

New products developed to satisfy the demand of foreign markets, such as breaded rings will be launched at the trade show. A new reference that completes Congalsa's extensive product portfolio dedicated to different consumption moments in the hotel and catering industry such as appetizers and tapas.
